1) Shipping Days

We ship Monday–Wednesday only (weather permitting).

Orders placed after Wednesday may ship the following week.
2) Shipping Method

Live fish ship via FedEx Overnight only.

We do not ship live fish using 2-day, ground, or economy services.
3) Before You Order
Please make sure:

Your shipping address is correct (include apartment/unit numbers if needed).

A phone number is provided at checkout for delivery issues.

Someone can receive the package on delivery day. Live shipments should not be left outside.
4) Weather Holds (For Fish Safety)
To protect your fish, we may delay shipping during:

extreme heat or cold

severe storms
-
major carrier disruptions
If we place a weather hold, your order ships on the next safe shipping day.
5) Packing & Insulation
We use insulated packaging and seasonally appropriate methods (heat/cold protection when needed) to support safe transit.
6) Tracking & Delivery
Once your order ships, you’ll receive tracking information. Please monitor tracking and plan to receive the package when delivered.
7) Live Arrival Guarantee / DOA Claims
We guarantee live arrival when delivery requirements are met.
If there is a DOA (Dead on Arrival), you must:

Email orders@legacylineaquatics.com within 4 hours of delivery

Include your order number and required photos (fish in unopened bag, fish after bag opened, shipping label, and all affected fish if multiple)
Verified DOA claims are eligible for a partial refund for the purchase price of the affected fish only. Shipping is non-refundable.
